Clear Channel UK now a leading digital media mall owner and operator following acquisition of Vision Media Group (UK)

Today Clear Channel UK, a leader in out-of-home advertising, announced the acquisition of Vision Media Group UK (VMG), its digital mall hardware partner in the UK.

Today Clear Channel UK, a leader in out-of-home advertising, announced the acquisition of Vision Media Group UK (VMG), its digital mall hardware partner in the UK.

In January 2008, Clear Channel UK entered into a ground breaking deal with VMG becoming the national sales partner on its screen network. Following the success of the partnership, the acquisition is a natural step for Clear Channel in consolidating key contracts and services under the Clear Channel brand.

The acquisition of the UK arm of VMG Global will strengthen Clear Channel’s relationships with malls and ensure a leading position in digital displays in malls.

VMG will continue to operate its global markets in China, India, Germany, South Africa and the US as a separate entity under VMG Global.
