11 Mar 2025 / Platform for Good
Clear Channel reinforces its commitment to supporting local communities across the UK with the announcement of a new collaboration with EFL in the Community, the charitable arm of the English Football League (EFL) representing the charities linked to 72 EFL Clubs.
As part of this collaboration, Clear Channel aims to donate £1M worth of media space throughout 2025, helping to amplify the incredible work that the EFL and its 72 Club charities do across the country.
EFL in the Community drives positive social change by supporting people of all ages through initiatives focused on health, education, inclusion, and participation. With Football Clubs deeply embedded in towns and cities across the UK, this new collaboration aligns closely with Clear Channel’s community-focused approach and the national footprint of its estate.
To launch the collaboration, an initial national campaign will debut on 10 March across Clear Channel’s digital Out of Home screens, shining a spotlight on the EFL club charities and their mission to transform lives through football. Over time, the partnership is expected to expand as Clear Channel works closely with the EFL’s club charities to develop localised and bespoke campaigns that create real impact in their communities.
By leveraging the scale and reach of Out of Home, Clear Channel is supporting the EFL charities in making a tangible difference in communities nationwide, ensuring that awareness and support for their initiatives continue to grow.
Last year, the Football Club charities engaged over 1.1M participants last season and generated a total of £1.24B worth of social value across the full range of community initiatives and programmes.
