02  Having a real impact

A Carbon Net Zero future

We are committed to being Carbon Net Zero by 2030 across Scope 1 and 2 emissions and Scopes 1,2 and 3 by 2045.

Every team and function at Clear Channel plays an active role in our advancing journey towards Carbon Net Zero.

Our A- CDP score illustrates our position as a responsible media and infrastructure business. It underscores our dedication to environmental responsibility, highlighting our efforts to support industry, advertisers, municipalities, and business partners in reaching their sustainability goals.

Through strategic measures and investments in energy-saving technologies, we're actively working towards our Carbon Net Zero future.

High impact, low energy media

A recent Outsmart report finds OOH represents 3.3% of the UK's total advertising power consumption and 0.067% of all power consumption, making it the most sustainable brand advertising platform compared to other major media.

This positive outlook on OOH, along with the sector's strides in becoming more sustainable, is thanks to OOH media owners overseeing their entire supply chain and operations from start to finish.

Championing Green Innovation

We have focused on reducing our carbon footprint and other environmental impacts across our operations, estate and premises while pioneering other environmental initiatives.

We're establishing zero-emission premise heating across our operations.

04  Low & zero emission fleet

Driving sustainability

We operate in urban environments, so we prioritise having the cleanest vehicles to improve the quality of life for residents in the communities we serve.

As a result, we're replacing company vehicles with electric or hybrid models only. With 82% of our van fleet being already hybrid or electric, we’re going full speed ahead to complete electrification by 2030.
